30-year-old businesswoman, Kizzian Baird and 40-year-old businessman, Junior Richmond were charged and remanded to jail today for the murder of Mark Thomas and Wendy James.
The double murder took place on the 16th June, 2025 at Baramita in the North West District. The Police said Thomas and James were beaten to death, and the post mortem examination found that they both died from multiple trauma to the head and body. It remains unclear what led to the deadly beating.
The two accused were arrested after they went into hiding with another suspect. The third suspect has not been charged in the matter.
During their virtual Court appearance in Region One today, Kizzian Baird and Junior Richmond were not required to enter a plea to the the murder charges. They were both remanded to jail and their next Court appearance will be on the 14th August, 2025.
The two were represented by Attorney Pamela DeSantos.
