18 months in jail for former Bank Manager found guilty of $3 million fraud

In an emotionally charged Courtroom, a former Citizens Bank Manager was today sentenced to 18 months in  jail after being found guilty of fraudulently converting $3 Million to his own use, while being a Manager of the said bank.

The convict, Kester Harvey, stood before Chief Magistrate, Ann Mclennan today to face his sentencing. He was represented by Attorney Leslie Sobers.

It was back in December 2016, when he made his first appearance in court after being charged with the fraud that occurred between October 1 and October 31.

He was entrusted by businesswoman, Pat Isaacs, to deposit the said money into her account but instead, converted the money to his own use.

When he was asked if he had to anything before his sentence was handed down, the former Bank Manager replied that the case has wrecked his life.

He was immediately taken into custody after the 18-month sentence was handed down.
