Detained political activist Melissa Atwell-Holder aka “Melly Mel” will now make her appearance before a US Immigration Judge on Friday 28th March. She was originally scheduled to make an appearance on the 25th June, but an update to the Court records revealed the new date. Additionally, a new Judge has been appointed to hear the matter.

Atwell-Holder was taken into custody last Thursday by the US Homeland Security Department and later transferred to a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Center in Louisiana.

At next Friday’s hearing, the US Immigration complaint against Atwell-Holder will be officially laid and the calendar will be set for the response by her Attorneys to the complaint.

News Source understands that a bond hearing could also take place during that first appearance or before.
