Former APNU+AFC MP and Region 10Vice Chairman throw support behind WIN

Former APNU+AFC Member of Parliament, Natasha Singh and Region 10 Vice Chairman, Mark Goring have both joined the recently formed, We Invest in Nationhood party headed by billionaire businessman, Azruddin Mohamed.

Singh recently resigned from the People’s National Congress and as a Member of Parliament. Goring, who was an AFC member, sat on the Region 10 Democratic Council as Vice Chairman.

In a statement on Saturday, Ms. Singh said she believes Azruddin Mohamed leads a Party that rises as “a beacon of hope, giving voice to the voiceless and power to the powerless”.

She said the party’s vision is rooted in the belief that true democracy flourishes when every individual, regardless of their background, identity, or economic status, can actively participate in shaping their society.
According to Singh, the party’s leadership stands as a testament to the resilience and strength of oppressed and marginalized people.

“I am one woman who yearns for justice, equity, and a more inclusive society as I join in a movement that is a transformative journey for all Guyanese”, she said.

In his statement of support, Mr. Goring said Guyanese citizens are crying out for change, and are weary of empty rhetoric and recycled promises.

“They demand leadership that works for all, not just the privileged few. We must build a government that lifts every citizen, where progress is shared and opportunity is real”, he noted.

He said the PPP administration has weaponized state institutions against anyone who refuses to echo its “One Guyana” mantra, and “Corruption is not only unchecked, it flourishes across ministries and agencies. This regime is defined by discrimination, nepotism, marginalization, cronyism, bullying, injustice, and a systemic disregard for law and order”.

Both Singh and Goring have been spotted on the campaign trail with the party’s Presidential Candidate, Azruddin Mohamed, who remains sanctioned by the US Government.
