Guyana has earned US$761 Million in oil revenues between January to March of this year, which represents the highest quarterly earnings recorded since the country’s oil production began seven years ago.
The earnings, which were published in the Official Gazette, stated that the country raked in US$72.5M in March alone in profit oil and royalties.
According to the publication, there were 10 oil lifts made between December 30, 2025 and March 31, 2026.
For that period one royalty payment, related to the fourth quarter production of 2025 was made, amounting to just over $US110.8 Million with the total profit payments during the quarter reached US$650.8M
Overall flows into the NRF, including profit oil and royalty was just over US$761.7M
Last year, Guyana received US$2.1 Billion in profit oil, comprising US$400.1 Million from Liza Destiny, US$767.7 Million from Liza Unity, US$824.4 Million from Prosperity, and US$133.6 Million from One Guyana.
There were 260 lifts of crude oil from the four producing Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading (FPSO) vessels, inclusive of a combined inaugural lift from the One Guyana FPSO.
The Four FPSOs are currently, producing over 900,000 barrels of oil per day.
Last year the government withdrew US$2.463 Billion from the Natural Resource Fund to finance a number of projects and programmes, at the end of 2025, Fund had a balance of US$3.250 Billion at the end of 2025.
