Fourteen hours after it told the nation that 11-year-old Adrianna Younge was abducted with surveillance footage showing her leaving the Double Day Hotel in a red and black car Wednesday afternoon, the Guyana Police Force has admitted that its own statement contained multiple inaccuracies.
In a statement issued four hours after Younge’s body was found in a pool at the Double Day Hotel, the Police Force said based on its preliminary investigations “it has been determined that certain details contained in the initial statement circulated were inaccurate.”
