Veteran Guyanese trade unionist, Kenneth Joseph has died.
He passed away yesterday in a city hospital, three weeks after he suffered a severe stroke.
His death came as a shock to the trade union fraternity with many of his colleagues describing the death as a major blow to the trade union movement in Guyana.
Kenneth Joseph served as the General Secretary for NAACIE for several years and was instrumental in leading negotiations in several cases for workers that fall under the union in both the public and private sectors.
Family members have described him as one who was loving and caring. Our sympathy to his relatives and friends.
