The GRA said its measures will take effect from Monday and will be in keeping with the Government's recently announced policy which mandates that visitors to Government offices be vaccinated or make appointments.

The Guyana Revenue Authority is the latest Government agency to announce a decision for all visitors to show proof of vaccination against COVID to gain access to its offices. Only a hard copy of the actual vaccination card will be accepted.

Those persons who are unvaccinated will have to make appointments ahead of any visits to the GRA offices.

The GRA said its measures will take effect from Monday and will be in keeping with the Government’s recently announced policy which mandates that visitors to Government offices be vaccinated or make appointments.

The revenue collection agency said the measure will be implemented at all of its branches across the country.

The Guyana Revenue Authority which covers revenue collection and customs is one of the busiest government agencies with branches all across the country.

Several government ministries and agencies have been releasing their vaccine proof requirement as the government seeks to get more persons vaccinated and stem the spread of COVID-19.
