32-year-old mechanic, Devon Atkinson, who is known as “Wild Buck”, was remanded to jail today after being charged for possession of an unlicensed firearm.
Atkinson was nabbed by the Police with the unlicensed gun after firing several shots in the air at a highway creek resort this past weekend.
He appeared before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Providence Magistrates Court today and denied the allegation.
Court documents revealed that on July 14th, Atkinson was found with a Bushmaster Pistol in his possession although he was not the holder of a firearm license.
He was arrested by Police ranks who were on duty at the resort after allegedly firing shots into the air.
He has been remanded until August, when the matter will continue.
