
The businessman who shot and killed a 24-year-old man who was turning around on his bridge, will now have to face a high court trial for the murder.
Magistrate Dylan Bess today ruled that a case had been made out against businessman, Robert Benn, and therefore he will have to stand a High Court trial.
The young man and the girlfriend were shot. The woman survived but the young man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Family members of the businessman had told News Source just after the incident, that he had been threatened by members of a criminal gang in the area and that fear may have triggered his reaction to the dark coloured car driving onto his bridge.
In Court today, when the businessman was asked if he wanted to say anything, he told the Magistrate that “I’m reserving my defence for the High Court.
