Investigators stumped in efforts to locate abducted man

Almost a month since the abduction of 34-year-old Joshua David from outside a Main Street restaurant, investigators appear stumped in finding the man, although they have arrested and charged seven persons in connection with the disappearance.

Family members of the missing man remain devastated and continue to hold out with hope. Two days ago, they observed the man’s birthday but are hoping for his return even as the reality that he might never return appears to be setting in.

Police investigators believe the young man might have been murdered and buried, but they have insufficient evidence to confirm that position. Investigators have been carrying out searches in a number of areas, but all of those searched have turned up empty handed.

News Source understands that the Police believe there was a mastermind behind the man’s kidnapping and the kidnapping may have been linked to him knowing the whereabouts of two men who are wanted for murder.

Police investigators believe that the missing man knew all of the men who abducted him, and had even worked along with one of them at a company a few years ago.

The abduction was captured on camera, and although the suspects were arrested and charged, they have all reportedly remained silent on questions about the man’s whereabouts and about the mastermind who orchestrated the abduction. The suspects are currently on bail as their case remains before the Court.
