
A popular Guyanese businessman in Trinidad and Tobago was gunned down at his business place in the community of Arima on Tuesday night.
The man, 45-year-old Deon Marshall was shot multiple times to his body at his Mix Master Punch Bar.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to reports out of Trinidad. A motive for the murder is unknown and investigators are said to be reviewing camera recordings from the area.
Marshall moved to Trinidad and Tobago several years ago, where he took up residence and established his own business. His family has been left stunned by the murder, explaining that they know of no reason why he would have been targeted.
An investigation is ongoing.
