A 55-year-old woman from West Ruimveldt was busted at the Eugene F. Correia Airport today with some extra weight strapped to her thighs.
According to a statement from the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit, Sandra Profitt was preparing to board a Barbados bound flight, when CANU agents found more than 7 pounds of cocaine strapped to her upper thighs.
The cocaine packages were fastened to the woman’s thighs using duct tape and she was immediately taken into custody following the bust.
She is expected in Court to face drug trafficking charges before the end of the week.
