Alexander village resident, Kevindra Tularam, died tragically on Saturday night in an accident at Mahaica on the East Coast of Demerara.
Police investigators were called to the scene, where Tularam’s body was still pinned in his SUV. The accident occurred along the Mahaica Public road, which still has some sections under construction.
Tularam’s vehicle reportedly collided with the back left side of a heavy duty truck. It is unclear what led to the collision. Family members learned of the tragic accident when they recognised Tularam’s vehicle from social media posts of the scene.
One of his friends remembered him on social media as a cricket lover who was like a brother. He was described as a caring husband and father, who was a family man that excelled in life.
Police investigations are ongoing.
