Former Director of Nursing at the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, 33-year-old, Mashuan Tyrell, lost his life early this morning in an accident along the East Coast Railway Embankment.
Tyrell, who was attached to one of the oil and gas companies, reportedly lost control of his car while making a turn on the roadway, and ended up in a trench.
The accident occurred just after 3am. Reports suggest that the healthcare worker got trapped in his car after it flipped into the trench. By the time emergency services were alerted and rushed to his aid, he had already died.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Friends and family members have been left in shock at the young man’s sudden passing. He is being remembered as a purpose-driven and well-rounded person.
He celebrated his 33rd birthday just one month ago.
