Buxton resident, 31-year-old Dexter McDonald aka “Labba”, appeared in Court on Tuesday to face a robbery under arms charge and a charge of discharging a loaded firearm with intent.

McDonald, who was also wanted in connection with a number of other crimes, was arrested a few days before his Court appearance on Tuesday.

In Court, he was charged with the robbery of Sharon Sarjoo, and entered a not guilty plea to that charge. He was also charged with the offence of discharging a loaded firearm with intent, at Collin Rodney. He was not required to enter a plea to that charge.

McDonald has been remanded to jail and is expected to make his next Court appearance on the 19th June. He is likely to face other charges soon in relation to an attempted murder probe and a number of other robbery cases.
