At the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court today, a miner who was recently charged for robbing two individuals, in vicinity of Stabroek Market, decided not to waste the Court’s time and entered guilty pleas to the charges.
34-year-old, Devon Holder, a resident of Onderneeming, West Bank Demerara confessed that on January 9, 2018 at Stabroek Market, he stole one gold chain worth $530,000 property of Rafeek Mohammed.
He also admitted to robbing Pamela Gibson of $100,000 in the same area while using violence.
The accused stood before Magistrate Annette Singh, unrepresented and admitted to both offences.
