A handyman who admitted in Court that he damaged a section of the house owned by State Minister Joe Harmon, was sentenced to six months in jail today.
30-year -old, Samuel Green, made his first appearance in Court and admitted to the offence.
The charge stated that on the 15th September at Mazuruni Street, Guyhoc, he damaged a section of the house, and the damage was in excess of $995,000.
According to reports, the man was caught with a metal bar hitting the windows and other sections of the house.
When he was offered an opportunity to defend himself, Green told the Court that he believes he is of an unsound mind.
No records were produced to support that claim and he was sentenced to six months in jail by Magistrate Fabayo Azore.
