The Nabaclis man who stabbed his wife to death and attempted to take his own life by stabbing himself to the neck repeatedly, has been released from the hospital and is now in Police custody.
News Source understands that the murder accused is now being held in Police custody at an East Coast Demerara station as charges are being prepared against him.
The man is expected to face the Courts before the end of this week.
It was on the 21st August that the 45-year-old man Sherlock James attacked his wife at their Nabaclis home.
The woman wanted to end the relationship with the man and reportedly packed his belongings and left them outside the door. The two had been separated for a few months and the miner worked mostly in the interior region.
He had accused his wife of being involved in an extra-marital affair. The couple had three children together.
