65 new COVID-19 cases recorded as the country passes 7000 cases mark

Based on the latest information coming out of the Ministry of Health, 65 new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours.

Guyana today surpassed 7000 recorded cases of coronavirus since the first case was recorded in the country last March.

Based on the latest information coming out of the Ministry of Health, 65 new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours.

Those new cases take the number of active cases in the country to 543 with the majority of those persons in home isolation.

The number of new cases continue to climb and officials believe that the country is still seeing the spike from over the holiday season.
