The 44-year-old man was arrested at his Festival City home on Friday by agents of the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit, after a search of the property uncovered more than five pounds of cocaine stashed in the false sides of two suitcases.

Owner of the Blue Iguana club, Royston Peniston, was remanded to jail today after being charged with being in possession of a quantity of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

The 44-year-old man was arrested at his Festival City home on Friday by agents of the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit, after a search of the property uncovered more than five pounds of cocaine stashed in the false sides of two suitcases.

CANU believes the suitcases had been prepared for a possible cocaine shipment to the United States using someone else.

In Court today, Peniston entered a not guilty plea and was remanded to jail until the 3rd April, when the case will continue.
