The man, Alan Murdoch of Florida, found himself in hot water, when he was caught with a small quantity of cocaine in a Georgetown yard known for drug pushers and dealers.

Sporting a Nelson Mandela remembrance tee-shirt, a 65-year-old, American man appeared in Court today and pleaded guilty to cocaine trafficking.

The man, Alan Murdoch of Florida, found himself in hot water, when he was caught with a small quantity of cocaine in a Georgetown yard known for drug pushers and dealers.

The elderly man appeared before Magistrate, Fabayo Azore and admitted to the offence of possession of cocaine.

The charge stated that on the 30th September at Pike Street, Kitty, the US citizen was found with 1.9 grams of cocaine in a glue bottle.

He was busted when police conducted a raid on the Pike Street yard.

The Magistrate remanded him to prison and ordered that he returns to Court on Thursday for his sentencing.
