Former murder accused, 24-year-old, Carlton Bourne, was back in Court again today, but this time to face a number of armed robbery charges.
The man appeared before Magistrate Leron Daly and was slapped with four charges of armed robbery and a fifth charge of discharging a loaded firearm.
He denied the allegations after the charges were presented to him.
The Court records point to four separate robbery incidents that occurred during the month of July. Bourne was fingered by all of the victims as the robber. He is accused of carting off more than $1 million in cash and valuables from his four victims.
The Magistrate was told that the man is currently before the Courts on a number of other robbery charges and had also been charged in the past for a murder. He was acquitted in the murder case.
After listening to the facts of the cases, the Magistrate remanded the accused to jail. His case will continue in the coming weeks.
