Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs today ruled that enough evidence has been presented to the Court for the extradition of US fugitive, Troy Thomas, and his extradition has been ordered.
In the ruling, the Magistrate said that the Court has seen enough evidence for him to be extradited to the United States to face trial for a murder that was committed there.
Thomas has been fighting his extradition ever since he was arrested a few months ago. He has been in Guyana since 2011, just after the murder of Keith Frank in New York.
The Minister of Public Security will now have to sign off on the extradition if there is no appeal by the accused.
The accused, Troy Thomas, did not offer any statement to the Court after the decision was handed down. He has been maintaining his innocence and has even claimed that he was not the one responsible for any murder in the US.
The wanted bulletin was issued by the US for his arrest and local Police arrested him during an operation earlier this year.
