The Splashmins Fun Park and Resort is expanding its Madewini Villas and will be building 300 private residences as well as expanding its beachfront hotel.

The expansion project at Madewini on the Soesdyke/Linden Highway is expected to cost $2.5 Billion and is being seen as a prime indication of the magnitude of investor confidence that prevails in the current Guyanese Economy.

In a statement today, the company said Madewini Waterfront Villas will ensure a harmonious blend of the natural environment that respects the true ecological properties of the project area.

The development will create over 300 jobs during the various phases. The features will include an outdoor performance space, five artificial lakes, recreational spaces, a public shopping center, and mall, and new road networks and bridges.

The expansion will cover over 150 acres of land. The new project will officially be launched on Monday.
