Police investigators in Georgetown are probing the death of a man whose battered body was found  on the seawalls close to the seaside.

Investigators have not been able to identify the man but a number of bruises were spotted on his face and upper body.

Sources close to the investigation believe the man may have been murdered.  Investigations are ongoing.
