The Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) has launched its new website, which it says will serve as the hospital’s digital front door, providing patients, students, and the public with easy access to accurate and timely information.
In a statement today, the GPHC said users can now register online, book appointments, and access educational resources, thereby reducing wait times and improving patient flow.
According to Chief Executive Officer of the GPHC, Robbie Rambarran, the platform complements ongoing initiatives to strengthen communication with patients and families, emphasizing that in today’s digital age, timely and clear information is essential for effective healthcare delivery.
The GPHC management has stated that the website bridges longstanding information gaps, offering a centralized, reliable source for the public.
The GPHC said the launch of the website represents the first phase of a broader vision for digital healthcare at GPHC, with plans to introduce interactive features and expanded e-health services across all branches.
“This initiative positions GPHC as a regional leader in healthcare innovation, reinforcing its commitment to accessible, efficient, and patient-focused care.
The website is now live and can be accessed at: www.gphc.gov.gy
