50-year-old Norton Street, Georgetown resident, Robin Marks was today charged with two counts of allegedly sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl.
The alleged child molester appeared before the Chief Magistrate this morning and was not required to enter a plea to the indictable charges.
The Court was told that back in February, the accused sexually assaulted the young girl in Duke Street, Kingston on two occasions, by rubbing his hands against her chest and attempting to kiss her.
He reportedly gained the trust of the young girl by giving her money and gifts but she became annoyed of his advances and complained to her grandmother who called in the Police.
After listening to the facts of the case, bail was granted in the sum of $200,000 on the two charges.
Marks will be back in Court on Friday for the continuation of the case.
