The RK Security Company has announced that it is offering a $1 Million cash reward to anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the armed bandits who attacked an RK Security car, shot one of the guards and made off with an undisclosed sum of money that was being taken to the bank.

The injured security guard remain hospitalized.

The security company is asking that anyone with information about the incident that could lead to an arrest should contact the company on telephone number 226-7541 or 226-0168. RK Security promises that all information will be treated with strict confidentiality.

The incident took place on Sunday on Middle and East Streets, moments after the security guards uplifted a sum of money from the Balwant Singh hospital to make a deposit.

The armed guards were caught by surprise and were unable to return fire at the gunmen who opened fire on the vehicle causing the driver to crash.

An investigation is currently underway into the robbery and shooting.
