Police investigators in Region 9 are probing the death of a 31-year-old teacher whose body was found in his South Pakaraimas home three days ago.

It is suspected that the teacher, Peter Christian, was murdered as several marks of violence were found on his body.

The man’s father claims that earlier in the same day he saw his son who complained of feeling unwell.  It was later that night that the father discovered the young man’s naked body on the floor of the home.

The Police said foul play is suspected because of the marks of violence that were found on the body.  A post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted soon.
