Three remanded to jail over theft of hair extensions and weave

A security guard and two seamen were charged on Monday and remanded to jail for break and enter and larceny related to the theft of over $5million worth of braids and weaves from an East Coast Demerara bond.

Security guard Trevon Williams appeared in Court this morning along with seamen, Marlon Campbell and Keron Williams and they all pleaded not guilty to the charges that on the 9th June they broke into the bond belonging to businessman Junior Hope and carted off the expensive hair pieces and braids.

The stolen items were found the next day at two houses in two different villages along the East Coast.

After listening to the facts in the case, Magistrate Fabayo Azore remanded all three accused to jail until the next Court hearing on the 23rd June.
