Two men found dead in Marriott Parking lot; Police suspect double suicide

The lifeless bodies of two close friends, Justin Teixeira and Richie Hansraj were found early this morning in a car in the parking lot of the Marriott Hotel in Guyana.

Teixeira was a flight attendant attached to American Airlines while Hansraj worked in the local music industry as a producer and Indian cultural performer.

There were no visible wounds or marks of violence on the bodies.

Police investigators believe the two men took their own lives. They were both found frothing at the mouth and a bottle with a liquid suspected to be a poisonous substance was found in the backseat of the car. Both men were in the front seats of the car.

Investigators made the discovery just before 1:00 am after checks were made to the parked car and the two men were spotted motionless.

In a Facebook post, late on Friday night, Hansraj stated “I hope the world find peace today I love you all”.

His previous post thanked his friends for wishing him a happy birthday as he celebrated his birthday on Wednesday.

Earlier on Friday, in a Facebook post, Teixeira said “Life is like a coin. You can spend it any way you wish, but you only spend it once.”

Just before he made that post, he also stated on Facebook that “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”
