Two men survive drive by shooting outside strip club

Two Georgetown men are nursing gunshot wounds in the hospital this morning after they narrowly escaped death in what police sources say was a drive by shooting incident. The men were rushed to the Georgetown Hospital  early Monday morning after being shot while standing outside the Baroombar Club on North Road, Georgetown.

The two men have been identified as 32-year-old Eon Simpson and 40-year-old Troy Anthony Adams. Hospital sources say their injuries do not appear life threatening but they will remain hospitalised.

Bystanders outside the night club were forced to run for cover when they heard multiple gunshots coming from a speeding car as it approached the night spot. The matter is being probed and the police would not release any further details on the incident.
