It is believed that a photograph is worth a thousand words. A U.S Citizen was busted at the Cheddi Jagan Airport on Friday afternoon with photo albums of cocaine that may be worth a whole lot more.

Agents attached to the Narcotics Branch of the Police Force made the Friday afternoon bust just as the man was getting ready to board a non-stop Dynamic Airways flight to the US.

The cocaine weighed just over five pounds and was stashed at the bottom of the man’s suitcase and in photo albums.

He was immediately arrested and taken into custody. He will face drug trafficking charges early in the new week.

In the past week alone there were two other drug busts involving foreign nationals at local airports. An american woman was held with drugs trying to go through the Cheddi Jagan airport while a British man was busted at the Ogle Airport with cocaine in his sneakers. (File photo)
