Wanted Bulletin issued for suspected mastermind of Corentyne carpenter’s murder

With four persons already facing murder charges for the brutal murder of Corentyne carpenter Fayez Narinedat, the Guyana Police Force is now going after the suspected mastermind.

The Police Force on Wednesday afternoon officially issued a wanted bulletin for 27-year-old, New York based Guyanese, Marcus Brian Bisram.

The bulletin states that he is wanted for questioning in relation to Narinedat’s murder.

The wanted man’s last known address in Guyana has been listed as Lot 115, Section A, Number 70 village, Corentyne Berbice.

News Source understands that the local police investigators have already contacted their counterparts in the United States for help with the case.  It is believed that the wanted man is hiding out in the New York area.

The bulletin comes one day after four men from the same Corentyne village were charged for the murder after they admitted that they had been hired to kill the carpenter. The four have been remanded to prison and the matter has been move to the Springlands Magistrates’ Court.

The mother and sister of the wanted man, Marcus Bisram, have also been charged in connection with the case. The two have been charged with allegedly attempting to bribe law enforcement officials.  It is reported that the pair offered money to investigators to drop the case as it became clear that Bisram was the mastermind.

The carpenter was savagely beaten and his body dumped on the roadway and ran over with a car to make it appear as though he was the victim of a hit and run accident.

The four men claim they were promised payment for the gruesome act by Bisram who was reportedly miffed that the carpenter, who was known to him, had rejected his sexual advances.
