Police investigators are probing the death of 31-year-old Quincy Bowman of Cummings Lodge on the East Coast of Demerara.
The man was found dead early on Monday morning on a bridge in Festival City, Georgetown. According to an initial report from the police, Bowman was discovered dead with a gunshot wound to the head.
The police report said that the man was found clad in a ¾ white pants, burgundy hood top and a pair of white and blue Nike boots. Investigations are ongoing.
The case is being treated as a murder. No weapon has been recovered and no suspect has been arrested.
