During the first appearance on Wednesday, 23-year–old Lushawn Crawford, 25-year-old Renaldo Persaud and 20-year-old Anton Fraser were charged for robbery under and possession of an unlicensed firearm.
The three pleaded not guilty to the charges and were initially granted bail in the sum of $50,000 each.
However, they were taken back into custody as the investigations continued. The following day, the three were taken before the Court again where they were charged with possession of a firearm without a license and possession of ammunition without a license.
They pleaded not guilty to the three charges and were remanded to jail.
The three accused have been remanded to jail until the 16th October when the matter will continue.
The three were arrested last Saturday afternoon after allegedly holding a cashier at gunpoint in the Ayan Supermarket at Unity on the East Coast.
A police report said the three suspects were nabbed by a Police patrol in the Nabacalis community after their getaway crash was involved in an accident.
The men were found with a firearm and live ammunition along with just over $9,000 in cash.
