Guyana receives G$257 Billion in oil revenues for 2nd quarter of 2026

Guyana has received US$1.23 Billion (GY$257B) in oil revenues for oil lifts for the second quarter of this year based on monthly and quarterly reports of the Natural Resource Fund (NRF), published in the Official Gazette.

The amount is 57% more than the approximately US$761M that the NRF received in between January to March this year.

The oil fund is held by the New York Federal Reserve Bank and receives all of Guyana’s revenue from oil sales and royalties.

Guyana received payments for about 15 lifts of crude so far for the year, totaling almost US$ 2 billion.

Of the lifts, Guyana received the lion’s share of the oil resources from the April lifts raking in $15.3B on April 7th, $17B on April 10, $17.8B on April 20, $21.5B on April 22 and $22.4B on April 29, according to the Official Gazette.

The country also received more than G$72B in May and approximately G$88B in June.

The payments are for profit oil from the Liza Destiny, Liza Unity, the One Guyana FPSO, Prosperity FPSO and royalty payment related to the 2026 Q1 production.

Crude oil production has averaged over 900,000 barrels per day (b/d) across the Stabroek Block with output expected to increase as oil production ramps up.
