The death of the Iranian President has made headlines globally, as he was believed to be next in line to take over as the country’s Supreme Leader.
The helicopter was flying in bad weather at the time of the crash, according to international media reports. A search and rescue operation was launched immediately, but was brought to an end once the bodies of those who died were recovered.
