It is alleged that on the 9th October, at Wauna Village, Northwest District, Daniels unlawfully wounded Leon Samuels.

Police Prosecutor, Arvin Moore told the court that the two men are known to each other and on the day in question, the two were consuming alcohol, when an argument broke out between them.

It was during that argument that Daniels armed himself with a bottle and dealt several lashes to his friend, Leon Samuels.

However, in Daniel’s explanation to the court, he told the Magistrate that this was the 5th time he was attacked by Samuels.

He said during the fight, Samuels rushed up to him and lashed him to the head with a bottle.

He stated that in response, he armed himself with a bottle and lashed the man to the head.

The case was put down until the 21st November and Daniels was granted $50,000 bail.
