At the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court this morning, a 41-year-old mini-bus driver and his 18-year-old conductor appeared before the Chief Magistrate to face charges related to the alleged rape of a 12-year-old girl.

The conductor, Keron Adams, was slapped with the charge of sexual penetration of a child below the age of 16-years.

The driver was charged with causing the 12-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity with his conductor.

Both men were remanded to jail until the 29th May, 2019.
