Burglars cart off laptops with Charmaine and Bonny’s music collection
Local music producers Charmaine Blackman and Bonny Alves are seeking the public’s help in locating two of their laptop computers that were stolen from their Agricola home.
The burglary took place while the couple was in Linden for the Calypso competition this past weekend.
Mr. Alves recounted that it was just after 7 o’ clock on Sunday morning that he received a call from a relative informing him that his First Street, Agricola home had ben broken into.
He said it appeared as though the burglars gained entry through a window.
The two said they were shocked when they got home and notice than the house had been ransacked and the two laptops were gone.
One of the laptops is a sony brand while the other is an Acer. Both computers have a large portion of their professional work, with lots of unreleased music.
Mr. Alves said he has been living in the area for over 60 years and this is first time that such an incident would have taken place.
