The Ministry of Health also announced that there are 98 new cases of COVID-19 in Guyana as of midnight last night.

Of the 98 new cases, 57 were recorded in Region One, putting the communities in that Region back in the spotlight as a hotspot for COVID-19 cases.

While the country has seen, 1464 recoveries since the pandemic was first recorded here, there are currently 988 active cases with more than 800 of those active cases in home isolation.
