The coronavirus death toll in the country jumped by two today. The Ministry of Health announced the deaths of an 88-year-old man from Region Seven and a 68-year-old woman from Region Four.
The two deaths have taken the total number of deaths recorded so far to 162. There are still four persons in the coronavirus intensive care unit.
A total of 42 new cases have been recorded, pushing the number of new cases recorded so far this month to 835.
There are currently 644 active cases.
