Twenty-four year old Alberttown resident, Tashon Haywood appeared in Court this morning and was slapped with marijuana trafficking charges after more than 120 pounds of marijuana was found in his possession.
Haywood pleaded not guilty to the charges and was remanded to jail until December 22.
The Court heard that the man and his activities were being monitored by the Police for a while and on the day of the bust, he was spotted moving three large bags from a car and placing them into the Alberttown yard.
When agents rushed in and carried out a search, they found the illegal substance stashed away in a fowl pen.
Haywood was immediately arrested and charged.
