The murder toll for the month continues to climb and police investigators are now looking for an Albouystown man who stabbed another resident of the community to death on Sunday.

According to a police report, 24-year-old Lloyd Benjamin of King Edward Street, Albouystown, was stabbed to death on Sunday morning just after 10 o’ clock.

The Police statement reported that “investigations have revealed that Lloyd Benjamin and another man had an altercation, after which the man’s brother confronted Lloyd Benjamin and stabbed him about the body.”

Benjamin was rushed to the Georgetown Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. His assailant is still to be arrested.
