A 41-year-old man from Hunter Street, Albouystown is facing narcotics trafficking charges after he was nabbed with a drinks cooler packed with marijuana.

A CANU statement said the suspect, Anthony Wilson, was arrested during a search operation at a shop that is owned by him.

CANU said the seized marijuana carries a total weight of 18 pounds and is valued at more than $2.5 million.

The suspect is expected to appear in Court before the end of the week. CANU said its investigations are ongoing.
