Ansa Motors Company launches new line of trucks for Guyana market
The Ansa McAl company is continuing its investment drive in Guyana.
Today, the company through Ansa Motors, launched the Fuso and Freightliner brand of vehicles in Guyana.
“We are not here to sell you a Truck, we are here to partner with you”, General Manager of Ansa Motors Caribbean, Rishi Basdeo, stated at the launching of the two brands.
He explained that the move into the Guyana market is as a result of careful research and analysis of the country’s needs at this time.
The Mitsubishi Fuso Company, which caters for small and large business with its line of trucks, along with Freightliner, are hoping to target the construction industry in Guyana.
Officials of the two companies have indicated that the vehicles could be customized to meet the specific needs of the buyer.
The Fuso and Freightliner brands are said to be fuel efficient and suitable for the rough terrain.
Brand Co-ordinator for Ansa Motors, Beverly Harper said the company is all about offering new and quality choices to the Guyana market.
She noted that for too long, Guyana has found itself at the receiving end of “hand me downs, second hand doozies and reconditioned lorries. They’re like a box of not so good chocolates. You never know what you getting until you drive one.”
Ms. Harper said the Ansa McAl company could testify to the quality of the vehicles, since it has been using them for its distribution line of vehicles for various products.
