Police investigators have arrested a 28-year-old mini-bus conductor after he stabbed a man to death outside Demico House, Stabroek on Friday night.
Dead is 43-year-old carpenter, Rawle Rodrigues, of Leopold Street Georgetown.
According to the Police, it was just around 9:30 on Friday night that Rodrigues got into an argument with the conductor and another man.
It was during the argument that the conductor stabbed Rodrigues to his chest with a pointed object. The carpenter was rushed to the Georgetown Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The conductor, who lives in the Meadow Brook area, was arrested just after. The probe is ongoing.
