The country’s coronavirus death toll climbed to 153 yesterday as the virus claimed the lives of two men.

A statement from the Ministry of Health revealed that an 81-year-old man from Region Seven and a 55-year-old man from Region One were the latest victims.

The country also recorded 28 new cases yesterday. 

There are four persons in the coronavirus intensive care unit and the number of active cases in the country remains at more than 700 persons with the majority in home isolation.

The Ministry of Health continues to encourage citizens to pay attention to the coronavirus guidelines and safeguard themselves and their families.
